Peter's 6th birthday-he celebrated with lots of friends at an indoor trampoline park,
a fun vacation to Cancun, Mexico where we met new friends who were in Guatemala the same time as us 5 years ago adopting their son...and it turns out we live 20 minutes from them, right here in MN...traveled to another country and met someone from our own backyard!
At least we got away from this for a week...wasn't it a LONG cold winter??!!
Taylor was in her cousin's wedding in May...what a beautiful bridemaid she was!
My babies are growing up! Taylor just graduated from high school 2 weeks ago! She chose to be home schooled over the past 2 years after a difficult few years at our local high school. She took her classes mostly on computer and once a week attended a homeschool high school co-op where she met some super neat friends! The co-op does a beautiful meaningful graduation ceremony which Taylor was a part of. Big difference in grad class sizes...hers was 30 students versus our local high school which graduated 600+ kids this year! I realize home schooling isn't for everyone but it was a great fit for Taylor!
Taylor was able to do a one-week missions trip to Mexico over spring break this year. She fell in love with the children in the orphanage there and now will be going back for 5 months with YOUTH WITH A MISSION. I am so proud of her! She has such a heart for serving others and God has big plans for her life.
Not only did my oldest graduate, but my youngest just graduated from kindergarten this week! He attends a Spanish Immersion school and is really picking up the language well!
Here are Ricky and Greta this week on their last day of 5th grade...it's off to middle school for my twins this fall!
And one of Ricky at a firefighter clinic he attended recently...this is his goal in life to become a fireman so this clinic was AMAZING for him!
Well, sorry for the picture overload but when I only post once every 5 months or so, there's lots of catch up on! Hopefully our cool, wet Minnesota weather will turn and we will finally warm up so we can enjoy summer here and at the lake!
