Hula King

Ricky would hula hoop all day long if he could.  This guy just loves to swivel his hips and can keep that hoop going for a long time!!  We are also working with a swim coach for the Special Olympics but that will be a very long, slow process.  Ricky hates the water and is so fearful of it so we have a long way to go before he’s actually swimming.  At least the coach can get him into the water which is a huge step for Ricky.  Peter, on the other hand, just loves the water!

We have been busy around here.  I am in the process of cleaning out our garage and trying to make room and organize it.  With 2 huge snow blowers, one lawnmower, one riding lawnmower, EIGHT bikes, a bunch of ride-on toys, every piece of sporting equipment known to man, about 20 hockey sticks, 2 strollers, plus much more, there is just no extra room!!!  Today our new kittens arrive from our lake home where my parents have kept them.  They will need some space in the garage so we have to clear a spot for them!!

Today Peter will start Kindercamp at our church.  It’s for 2-5 year olds.  Taylor is helping with the two’s so he should be fine.  Greta and Ricky will help me in the Snack Center!

Hannah is at Bible Camp about 3 hours away this week.  She and her cousin live for this time together and begin making plans months in advance!  I hope she is growing in her faith and love for the Lord this week!!

Peter made the move to a big-boy chair and we packed away the high chair this week.  He is growing up too fast!  Here’s a picture of him sitting up to the table with the rest of us now…he’s so proud of himself!

If you haven’t done so, please take a minute to enter my latest giveaway below!  We’ll pick a winner later this week!!
