Picking Strawberries and A Winner!!

last day 1sr grade 017

I planted a small patch of strawberries in my vegetable garden a few years ago.  Now the strawberry plants have taken over half of the entire garden.  Each day I pick at least 1/2 gallon of strawberries!  Does anyone have a great recipe for strawberries?

Beyond picking strawberries, I also picked the winner of the latest giveaway using Random.org.  The winner of the Tommy Hilfiger Shoes and patriotic socks is:    Rebekah!  Congratulations!!

Oh Yay ME! Thanks Lynda - let's plan on getting together at the zoo sometime in July - if that isn't too late! We are busy every weekend until July 10th - so let me know if that will work for you!

And Yummy picture - I am allergic to those sweet things but I always love smelling them!

Have a great day and enjoy the warm weather!

Hugs - Rebekah and her girls

Hey, I'll take some strawberries!!! I usually throw them in the blender with yogurt, milk and some ice for a fruit smoothie or I toss them in a spinach salad with some balsamic vinegrette.

you can make strawberry shortcake. You can decorate a cake for the 4th of july using strawberries for the rest stripes.

You could make strawberry preserves.
