I have two favorite photos for this week’s post. The first one I’ve titled “hanging around”. That’s right..hanging by one arm off the ground and eating a cookie with the other! This guy is such a monkey!
This next one is called “I can do it all by myself!” Peter is a very stubborn little 3 year old and often insists on doing things his way. He dressed himself the other day and was too stubborn to admit that there might be a problem here!! It’s a fun stage that most toddlers go through, however, so we are trying to enjoy his new independence! This inside-out-arm-pulled-through-the-neck look strongly resembles a toga, doesn’t it!!??
We are looking forward to spending a fun-filled weekend at our lake home enjoying this gorgeous spring weather! Please keep our military men and women and their families in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate our freedoms this holiday weekend!

Cute!!!
Have a great time together this weekend!
I have to laugh at Peter. My daughter does the same thing. and then will *not* let mommy help her get out of that tangled mess. and your Ricky is a doll. love the swing gym.
ok so I love that Ricky is winging with one had and has a cookie in another, thats quite a kid there! yes the independence mostly good but sometimes funny, and others frusterating at times, I mean you can't take your kid dressed in a togo, the circulation to his arm might get cut off, too funny!
Cute photos! And that toga look is all too familiar at my house...
Ricky is quite the multi-tasker!! And we have our share of independence battles around our house too. Gotta love the 3 year olds!! Have fun this weekend!!
You've got some talented kids! Great pictures!
